Tickets for the May 17, 2026 “Sunday Afternoon Jazz In The Ballroom” rare tribute to “Time Out”, and the genius of Dave Brubeck and Paul Desmond!

All of the groundbreaking music from one of jazz’s best selling albums, “Time Out”, will be performed.
Great compositions were one part of the Brubeck/Desmond magic, but who can play piano like Dave Brubeck?
His son, Darius Brubeck, will be flying in for the concert!
And what about the lyrical alto sax of Paul Desmond?
The legendary Tom Scott,winner of 3 Grammys and 13 Grammy nominations, will channel the exquisite beauty of Paul Desmond! The premier artists with whom Tom has played include Joni Mitchell, Paul McCartney, Steely Dan, Barbra Streisand, Quincy Jones, Thelonious Monk, the Blues Brothers, Frank Sinatra, Aretha Franklin and Aerosmith!
The concert will be presented in the beautiful Centennial Ballroom at the classic Los Angeles Athletic Club in downtown. The parking garage entrance is at 646 South Olive Street 90014. Parking is $10 with validation.
Optional brunch/cocktails are available before the concert, just note on the ticket form whether you want to come for brunch.
We also welcome you to join us after the concert for American Songbook jazz and dinner that night, 6:00 to 8:30, but for that you do need reservations. There is only a $10 cover charge for non-members, and no minimum! To break even, we will need help with donations, which are tax-deductible (confirm with your tax advisor).
